Family-owned bike and eBike shop marks grand opening at 724 Main Street with the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce

LONGMONT, Colo., October 29, 2026 - CyclErie, a family-owned bike and eBike sales and service shop, held a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for its Longmont store on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The event took place from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the store, 724 Main Street, Suite A, in downtown Longmont, with the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event drew a large crowd of customers, neighbors, downtown business owners, Chamber members and families. Guests toured the store and service department, met staff, and took test rides through nearby Roosevelt Park.

CyclErie Longmont opened in May 2026 and is the company's second location, after its original store in Erie, Colorado. A large share of CyclErie's customers already came from Longmont and nearby communities to the north, which made Longmont a natural place to expand. The Longmont store employs three full-time staff, two of whom are longtime Longmont residents.

"We picked this spot because it works for riders. There's parking out front, Roosevelt Park is a block away, and the downtown streets have wide bike lanes and big old trees, so it's a great place to test ride," said Dan Johnson, co-owner of CyclErie. "We're keeping it local. That means local jobs, tax dollars that stay in Longmont, and people working here who live and ride here."
